The Irwin 29-Piece Titanium Metal Index Drill Bit Set is ideal for drilling wood, metal, or plastic. Built from titanium metal, this set offers the best heat resistance for drilling hard and abrasive materials, and is built extra hard for greater durability. This titanium nitride coating extends the cutting edge life up to 6 times that of a normal drill bit.

Each bit comes with a 135-degree split point tip that starts on contact and cuts with less force. The reduced shank above 3/8-inches allows the use of larger drill bits in a 3/8-inch chuck, while removable cartridges make it easy to carry bits from case to the worksite. Additionally, this set includes a tap and drill selection chart for convenient reference, as well as a rubber over-molded case that protects kit if dropped.
