Aluminum Open End Rivet /w Steel 1/8" Diameter , .462" Length, Drill # 30, Grip .251"-.312" (Pack of 100)

Aluminum Open End Rivet /w Steel 1/8" Diameter , .462" Length, Drill # 30, Grip .251"-.312" (Pack of 100) Review

Blind rivets provide a way to join parts together when you don't have access to both sides. They consist of a rivet (a hollow body with a head) and a mandrel (a thin nail with a bulbed end). Rivets require a setting tool for installation. Riveted joints are strong, tight, and extremely reliable. How to install a blind rivet. Insert the rivet through a hole that passes through both materials being joined. Using a rivet tool with the same size nosepiece as the rivet diameter, grip the mandrel and pull the trigger or lever. The tool pulls the mandrel through the rivet, deforming the rivet's body and breaking off the excess mandrel.

MLCS forstner bits are manufactured from high quality steel that is long lasting, precision ground for heavy use and easily resharpened. Forstner bits are designed to drill flat bottom or through holes cleanly in end grain, thin stock, veneers and regular stock. They enlarge existing holes with ease and can bore any arc of a circle. These bits will not move off center through unusual grain or knots. Great for mounting mini-quartz clock movements, cup hinges and door locks. Sizes 1/4-Inch to 7/8-Inch bits are supplied with solid rims. The saw teeth design for larger diameter bits (1-Inch and larger) stop burning and cut faster without losing the advantages of Forstner bit action.
